About SHUATS
Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences (SHUATS Allahabad) is situated in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. Established in 1910, SHUATS has received "A Grade" accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), a subsidiary of the University Grants Commission (UGC). The University was given an "A" rating by MHRD. Both the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and the ICFRE (Indian Council of Forest Research Education) have given the accreditation to SHUATS in 2009 & 2010, respectively. Association of Indian Universities (AIU), International Association of Universities (IAU), Association of Commonwealth Universities, All India Association for Christian Higher Education (AIACHE) and Global Consortium of Higher Education and Research for Agriculture (GCHERA) all recognise the University as a member.
Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences offers 203 courses across 16 streams, namely Commerce and Banking, Design, Engineering, Management, and IT. Popular SHUATS courses include BSc, B.Tech, BA, BBA, and BPEd. Besides a robust teaching pedagogy, SHUATS is also a leader in research and innovation.
SHUATS faculty is very good. The teaching and research faculties are staffed with highly skilled individuals with training in specialised fields of agricultural science and technology; many of them have advanced degrees and doctoral degrees from foreign universities. SHUATS Admission 2025
SHUATS admissions are based on National Level Entrance Examinations, State Level Entrance Examinations, and University-based Entrance Examinations. Students seeking admission to SHUATS must fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the university and appear for the relevant entrance examination.
